Everyone should know him.
He died fighting for what he believed in and nowadays we don’t even stand up for what we believe in. We don’t even KNOW what we believe in. By 20 he was a prominent leader in his community. He was an activist worth listening to. He empowered Black people. He was be heard. He organized food pantries, educational programs, and recreational outlets for impoverished children, and he helped bring about a peaceful coexistence among the city’s rival street gangs.Hampton was a respected community leader whom later became a threat to AmeriKKKa. December 4, 1969 during a police raid Hampton was killed…… What are WE doing NOW to help one another?? We are still in slavery, now is more mental than physical. Many of our peers don’t even know who he is. We need to start unlearning and learning US all over again….
